"I have been training with Luke for over 3 years. When I started training with Luke I was fit but I didn’t feel I was strong and wouldn’t go anywhere near the weights section of the gym. 

 

Through working with Luke together, and also on my own with exercises he tailored for me, I have gained a lot of core, leg and arm strength.  I am now nearing the end of my first pregnancy and have continued training with Luke with adapted exercises. Prior to falling pregnant we already had worked a lot on strengthening areas of my body that would need the extra strength, and that, combined with my ongoing training I am sure has contributed to still feeling strong and reducing any discomfort I may have otherwise felt in pregnancy. I will be looking forward to getting back to training with Luke, once safe, after the baby is born as it gives me huge satisfaction and enjoyment training together."

"Luke has been my PT for only half a year. Part of this has been in very difficult times with the nation going into lockdown (gyms being shut) during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, through the use of video-conferencing tools and keeping in regular contact, the sessions have remained very consistent and I have seen significant progression to both, my strength and general fitness. Luke’s attentiveness and ability to understand each individual’s requirements is what makes him different.  He has often gone the extra mile for me by providing structured meal plans, logging workout regimes and checking up on me during the week which has undoubtedly been the driver to helping me hit new goals I hadn’t previously been able to achieve. "My name is John and I started training with Luke during _____ 2020. Before discussing my training experience with Luke, it is worth saying that I had been going to the gym three to four times a week for over a year. My main focus was strength training and my goal was to lose weight and become lean. After a year of going to the gym me weight had not changed, I’m 5ft 8” and was firmly stuck on 85kg. I felt a bit lost and decided to change it up – which is why I got in touch with Luke. I was at first dubious of the benefits of a personal trainer and I had always figured I could go it alone; I was very wrong. 

Since starting to work with Luke the benefits have been enormous. Luke’s workouts in the gym pushed me to my limit but importantly never beyond – It was never discouraging. Within just a month I felt stronger. When you train with Luke the support and advice is not just in the gym, Luke helped me sort out my diet with some excellent pointers and a solid general meal plan. By March I had lost 5kg, but then Covid-19 struck, and I was worried all the progress we had made would be lost as the gyms closed. Luke however would not be put off and we now train weekly via Zoom – the workouts are no less demanding without dumbbells; Luke always has a way to get you working hard! My most recent weigh in was 75kg – the weight I was originally targeting when I started in the gym all that time ago. I can safely say none of this would have been achieved without having the support, advice and encouragement that Luke provides. He is a true professional but more importantly he really does care, so if you need to take your workouts to the next level, or even just need a nudge to get you across the line to your goal, whatever it may be, I cannot recommend Luke enough."

"I started training with Luke two years ago during a rather difficult time in my life, in a bid to set myself some personal goals. "I had two main fitness goals before starting training with Luke, one being fit enough to run a marathon and the other to become stronger and more toned. I always felt I could do this by myself; however it turns out that my lack of motivation and lack of knowledge when it comes to increasing strength got in the way. I have seen a few personal trainers in my time but never carried on training with them. Training with Luke was different and eighteen months later I am still here. Every session is different, challenging and motivates me to continue. In less than three weeks I will be completing my first ever marathon and thanks to Luke I feel prepared (first goal to be complete). I also generally feel better in myself. I have more energy and my strength and stamina continues to rise (second goal complete- even going beyond my expectations). I’ve noticed muscles appearing that I never knew even existed, my body shape has improved and overall I feel more confident in myself.
